About RG

Robin “RG” Gentlewolf has dedicated her life to sharing the beauty, spirit, and healing presence of the Native American Flute. A Tsalagiyi Nvdagi Tribal Elder and multiple award‑winning recording artist, her work has been honored with 8 Global Music Awards, 5 Gold LIT Talent Awards, and a One World Music Award for Best Native American Music Album of the Year (with Jan Michael Looking Wolf).

Known for her masterful, heartfelt flute melodies, RG has recorded several commercial releases and performed on regional, national, and international stages, including collaborations with symphonies and large‑venue productions. As a soloist, she released Colors of Life in 2023, which features her flutes alongside the expressive guitar work of former Sony artist Keith Sommers.

A respected author, educator, and international instructor, RG teaches full‑time through her global online program, guiding students from around the world with her warm, lineage‑rooted approach. She has authored multiple e‑books on learning the Native American Flute, co‑authored Jan Michael Looking Wolf’s e‑course book, and serves as the Executive Director of the Looking Wolf One Heart Award Program.

RG is also a sought‑after lecturer and presenter, frequently invited to universities, grade schools, assemblies, and community events to share the history, cultural context, and expressive power of the Native American Flute with audiences of all ages. She additionally serves as a Teacher’s Assistant at Oregon State University for the Native American Flute class.

She is currently writing a new e‑book on advanced techniques for the Native American Flute and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Metaphysical Science, continuing her lifelong mission to support, uplift, and inspire flute players at every stage of their musical journey.
